想问问什么是数据挖掘？这个词好象挺热门的，是否有通俗一些的解释？
PS：我也是做MITOCW课程翻译的。

呵呵，简单的说，数据挖掘就是从数据中发现潜在规律（或模式）的过程。它综合了很多种知识发现的方法，比如决策树、神经网络、聚类、关联分析、序列分析等等，这些方法则涉及到多个学科：统计学、人工智能、机器学习、数据库等等。
呵呵，做MITOCW翻译有何心得？可否和大家分享一下？ |
