drag one’s feet/ heels
drag这个动词原来的意思是“拖、拉”，drag one’s feet或drag one’s heels显然是一种走路的方式，和“大步走、快步走”恰恰相反，它是“拖着脚步走”的意思。作为成语，drag one’s feet用以表示在做一件事时当事人裹足不前，动作迟缓，这往往是出于当事人对这一件事的厌恶、反感，说明他对于做这件事是十分勉康模?
Tom dragged his feet when told to turn off the TV and go to bed. 当汤姆被告知关掉电视，上床睡觉时，他慢吞吞的，故意拖延。
