读书笔记,  科学研究 Lee 发表于 2006/2/22 23:16:28 Sesame selected a relational database as the storage mechanism, but is DBMS-independent via the repository abstraction layer (RAL). The RAL is an interface that offers RDF-specific methods to its clients and translates these methods to calls to its specific DBMS. The big advantage of RAL is that it makes it possible to implement Sesame on top of a wide variety of repositories without changing any of Sesame’s other components.
